While out this evening I decided to investigate one of the loudest screeching carry on of birds I have ever heard.
Through all the trees, out on the high school oval and in the twilight sky above there were corellas everywhere! This massive flock of long-billed corellas,
Cacatua tenuirostris, or simply 'white parrots' seem to be working their way around the Adelaide suburbs picking different neighborhoods to terrorize with their squawking and carry on.
I took many shots of them in the twilight this evening and though I'm generally not a big fun of blurred photographs this one seems to capture the craziness of it all the best.
